Increasing Physical Layer Security Through Hyperchaos in VLC Systems

Visible Light Communication (VLC) systems have relatively higher security compared with traditional Radio Frequency (RF) channels due to line-of-sight (LOS) propagation. However, they still are susceptible eavesdropping. The proposed solution of the papers been built on existing work hyperchaos-based measure increase physical layer from eavesdroppers. A fourth-order Henon map is used scramble constellation diagrams transmitted signals. scramblers change symbol system using a key. That key receiver side de-scrambles received data. presented modulation scheme takes advantage degree isolate data transmission single dimension, allowing for better scrambling and synchronization. sliding mode controller at in master-slave configuration projective synchronization two maps, which helps de-scramble only isolated users aware synchronization, providing against VLC various approaches based metrics. An improved Bit Error Rate lower information leakage achieved variety schemes an acceptable Signal-to-Noise Ratio.
